Some mailing lists have been set up for the Atom Masher club and other New Mexico homebrewing clubs. The lists are:

Everyone interested should join the main NM Brewers list and one or more of the other lists, as appropriate. It's assumed that all the people on the individual group lists are also on the NM Brewers list. Yes, anyone can join the AM Officers list to watch what we're doing!

Email Policy

Please remember that these email lists are about homebrewing in New Mexico. The club member lists go out to 50 to 100 people in New Mexico. The official policy is to keep it a low-traffic list, with only about 5-10 postings per month.

Appropriate topics are:

  • Does anyone want to brew with me?
  • Does anyone want to be included on a homebrewing mail-order?
  • There's a new brewpub in New Mexico...
  • There's a beer (or other alcohol-related) event in New Mexico...
  • There's a new brewer in town, does anyone want to have a beer?
  • The next Atom Masher meeting will be ...
  • There will be a beer judging at ... (New Mexico or Colorado)
  • The Great American Beer Festival (Denver) will be ...
  • I'm having a beer tasting at my house ...
  • Can I get a ride to the meeting?
  • I've got some extra homebrewing equipment to sell or give away. You can also place ads in the Suds Times if you are a club member.
  • Quotes and jokes related to homebrewing.
  • I've got a brewing question... (this might be better sent to the HomeBrew Digest).
Inappropriate topics are:

  • Anything commercial, unless related to homebrewing, strictly informative AND local to New Mexico.
  • Any chain letters, no matter how noble the cause.
  • Spam (i.e. unsolicited email about commercial ventures).
  • Computers (as in notices of the latest virus).
  • Non-homebrew humor.
Your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines is appreciated.

Administration

Administrative requests are now handled by ... YOU. That's right, you can now make all necessary changes to your email address and subscriptions by yourself.

To change your address and various other things (like being able to post from multiple addresses), go to your Yahoo Groups preferences site.
