The
Greater Huntington
Homebrewers Association is
proud to host the 2005 Mountain Brewer Open and GHHA Label
Contest. This
years event will be held on Saturday July
30th
2005 at St.
Clouds Commons in Last year, the Homebrew contest drew 141 entries from 13 states. Entries were received in all 26 BJCP categories. We anticipate a similar number of entries this year. All entries will be judged according to the new BJCP guidelines. Medallions will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place beers in each category. In addition a best of show trophy (donated from Blenko Glass) will be awarded to the top entry. This year we will host the first ever GHHA Label Contest. Special prizes will be awarded to the top 3 labels. Labels will be displayed at the GHHA Brewfest with attendees voting for a people’s choice award. Entries will be accepted July

entry.
Registration can be
done online at MBO
2005. Entry
fees can be paid by check (made out to Greater Huntington Homebrewers
Association/GHHA) or credit card payments through PAYPAL.
Ship

Entry fee for the GHHA Label Contest is $2/entry. Judging
will begin at
12:30 P.M. on Saturday July 30th,
2005. All BJCP certified judges will receive free admission
to the GHHA BREWFEST.
