This page is a further expansion of the Beer Alert page, which lists all the draft beers at beer bars in the NYC area. On this page, we list brewpubs and breweries in the area. This page pays tribute to all the hardworking brewers who provide us with fresh, local beers at brewpubs and breweries in the NYC area, and further afield. I have to admit that I do not get to brewpubs as much as I do beer bars, so I am depending on you folks out there to send me updates on these bars, as well as the brewpubs' websites, which may or may not be updated often.

Disclaimer: This information often concerns the most transitory of items. I have not been at every bar listed to verify every beer listed. I have no control over how quickly a possibly single keg can get kicked. If you decide to go to one of the bars listed solely because of the presence of one of the beers listed, call them first. You will see their phone number included in the list.

The bars are organized by alphabetical order, in the following areas:

Members of our club, who have sampled George's homebrew for years, are very envious of the folks up in Albany who have the opportunity to come in and try it on a daily basis!
