That is certainly worth a try first but if that fails, the best
controller I know of is:
*Temperature control unit.... Ranco ETC available from Grainger cat # 3ZP77.
I have one on a chest freezer to make it think it is a beer fridge and I
have one on my smoker to control the temp.
It can be programmed for heating or cooling. It is digital and much
better than those other bulb types.
My cheese fridge is a dorm fridge and it has no problem controlling at
higher temps so I do not need an external controller for it.
