Hi Nancy,

Good luck with your cheese company! Sounds exciting! I was doing like you said, petting and touching her, but could not find the udder untill she started to get milk, and she didn't like it then. I thought that with the kids, she would get use to it. The first few days, was ok, but I didn't know how to do it, maybe she got mad at me for that. I am going to try today, will tie her up and seperate her from the rest. Wish me luck!
