I understand but it makes the point of what the possibilities are and 
what so many of them really do look like.

The fact that he already said it would include advertising is enough to 
keep me away.  I do not like ads.  My not so humble opinion.

Personally, I prefer usenet to most web based fora but one only needs to 
read alt.cheese to realize that something is fundamentally wrong there 
and I am not quite sure what.

The only thing that comes to mind is that there are already too many 
cheese groups and we need to consolidate and not expand.
